Welcome to COG's organic seed database

COG developed FindOrganicSeed.ca with the goal of making it easier for organic farmers to find the seed they need. Our database allows you to:

• Browse the catalogues of many organic suppliers at once

• Keep track of your choices by making a "seed list" that you can come back to as often as you like to make additions or changes

• Demonstrate the need for untreated seed to your certifier by printing off your seed list, which will highlight any varieties that were not available as certified organic

• Report any varieties that you were looking for that were not available, which will help us build our tool and hopefully the organic seed supply in Canada

• Print a hard copy of the database contents to share with someone else or use yourself
